Hardship Information

Due to Hurricane Milton, I am declaring a financial hardship. The hardship is from a decrease in household income and/or increased expenses to the extent we are requesting assistance.
I AGREE with the requirements and criteria for this Skip-A-Pay request.

Hurricane Milton Skip-A-Pay Requirements

  1. By meeting the criteria listed below and upon approval, my payment will be skipped 1 month and be due on the due date of the following month after the skipped period.
  2. The time it takes to pay off my loan will be extended.
  3. Interest will continue to accrue on my loan and be paid when the following payments are applied.
  4. Monthly premiums for Credit Life/Disability will still be added to the loan on the skipped period.
  5. All other terms of my loan agreement remain the same.
  6. If you have GAP coverage, the reimbursement may be reduced by the total missed/skipped payments. (Please refer to your GAP policy/documents for specific information)
  7. Skip-A-Pay requests DO NOT APPLY to credit cards, corporate, business and mortgage loans.
  8. Skip-A-Pay program cannot be used in conjunction with any other payment deferred programs.
  9. Once the Skip-A-Pay is processed; if you choose to continue making payments prior to your new due date, payments will be applied; however, due date may not advance beyond two months of the current date.
  10. If you normally make your loan payments by automatic deduction - either through an account at McCoy Federal Credit Union or an external account with another financial institution - please turn off automatic payments for this Skip-a-Pay request.

Skip-A-Pay Criteria

  1. 30-day Skip-A-Pay can only be used for your October 2024 or November 2024 payment.
  2. Requests are only for consumer loans - for example: vehicle, personal, or signature, line of credit.
  3. Any outstanding amount owed McCoy FCU cannot be more than 30 days past due at the time of request.
  4. Loan(s) cannot be currently in bankruptcy or any other restricted status.
  5. Loan(s) requiring insurance must have borrower provided insurance meeting loan agreement requirements.
  6. Loan must have at least 3 full monthly payments received.
