McCoy Debit Card Update - April 23, 2024
You can now use your debit card in store and at ATMs at Publix stores. You can now add your debit card to Apple and Google mobile wallets. If you experience any issues, please report them. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We are receiving reports of members being charged $2 to use Publix ATMs. This is not correct, and we are working on reversing these fees for impacted members.
McCoy Debit Card Update - April 22, 2024
9:00 AM: Please remember to activate your new McCoy Visa Debit Card if you have not done so already. During activation, stay on the line to set your PIN.
10:00 AM: We are aware of issues that members are experiencing with Publix ATM withdrawals, Publix in-store transactions, and mobile wallet setup. We anticipate that Publix transactions will begin working tomorrow and will continue working to resolve all issues. We apologize for the inconvenience.
1:30 PM: You can now register your new debit card on the CURewards website. Your existing points will automatically transfer, but you will not see them in the new program until June 1, 2024.
McCoy Visa Debit Cards
As part of an upgrade to our Visa Debit Card program, you will receive a new McCoy Federal Credit Union debit card in the mail. While you must update your payment information with online merchants, your new card offers a growing list of enhanced features and added security to better serve you, your family, and our McCoy FCU community.
Important Dates
April 21, 2024: Your current McCoy FCU Visa Debit Card will be deactivated at 11:59 pm EST.
April 22, 2024: First day to activate your new McCoy FCU Visa Debit Card. Remain on the line after activation to set up your PIN.
April 22, 2024: First day to register your new McCoy FCU Visa Debit Card on the CURewards website and log in to review your rewards points.
There will be a freeze on ordering new debit cards from April 1, 2024, to April 22, 2024. If you lose your existing card or your card is compromised during this timeframe, then you will not receive a replacement card until the first week of May.

Why is McCoy FCU converting to a new debit card processor?
This new partnership will allow McCoy FCU to provide a more secure credit card, a more robust rewards program, and upgraded functionality for cardholders.
Will the new card have a different card number?
Yes. Any recurring or pre-authorized charges you have on your current card will need to be updated to the new card number. This includes payments for online merchants, such as streaming services, autopay bills, and monthly memberships.
Will my PIN change?
Your new debit card will not have a PIN, so you must set up a PIN during activation. Be sure to wait on the line and select option 1 to set a PIN when prompted. You will not be able to use your card until you have set your PIN.
Can my PIN be the same as my old card?
Yes, you can set the same PIN. However, you still need to establish your PIN during the activation of your new card.
Will I still earn rewards points with my new card?
If you have a McCoy FCU Visa Debit Rewards card, you will immediately begin accumulating points through a new and improved rewards program called CURewards. Your existing points will automatically transfer to the new program. We anticipate that you will be able to access CURewards to register your new card and view your points by June 1, 2024. Stay tuned here for the most up-to-date information.
Will my mobile wallet automatically update with my new card?
No, you must delete the old card and tokenize the new card in your mobile wallet.
Will my daily limit change?
No, your limit will remain the same as your old card.
What is contactless payment?
It's easy. Just tap or hold your new card near the checkout terminal to process your purchase.
Will I have access to my debit card history?
Once we have transitioned to the new McCoy Visa Debit Card, you will no longer have access to your current card's history. We recommend you save your statements as needed before April 2024.
